My story

Meet Hobie MN Blk/Tan and Pippa FS Wht/Blk! Two of the cutest and most endearing little chihuahua mixes you’ll ever meet! They are super best buddies but also love people once they trust them. They are extremely affectionate and want to be around their people as much as possible! Hobie and Pippa came from an abusive home, so they take a little bit to warm up, but once they do, they will be stuck to you like glue! They love to wrestle and romp and be outside! They have never been on leashes, so will need some work to learn that walks and new scenery are fun. They are housetrained and mostly not destructive (Hobie will chew the occasional shoe and try to steal from the trash on occasion). They are also crate-trained and love car rides, toys, and food! Hobie is very much the leader of the two and more adventurous and frisky, whereas Pippa is the calmer one who watches her brother’s shenanigans with fascination.  Their ideal home would be with someone who is home a lot to spoil them and work with them on leash training and confidence building. They definitely need a fenced yard, as they get so much enjoyment being outside and sunbathing, chasing squirrels, etc. They get along well with most dogs and cats and are learning to warm up to new people. They seem nervous around children, so a home with adults only would be best. They love car rides and going to visit their foster mom’s parents' house!   These two are very special and are waiting for their perfect forever people to come along.
