Smallest Sibling, Biggest Heart – Meet Cali! Sweet Cali is the smallest of our new litter of puppies. She weighed just 25 pounds when she arrived at the Ranch. We quickly got to work making sure she received the nutrition and care she needed, and she’s already putting on some much-needed weight. Don’t let her size fool you, Cali keeps up with her siblings just fine! She’s right there in the middle of the action, running, wrestling, and racing to see who can make it first into the kiddie pool with the rest of the crew. Cali can be a little shy at first, but it only takes a moment for her to warm up. Once she knows you, she’s all about the cuddles and belly rubs. Like her littermates, Cali is alert, curious, and eager to explore the world around her. She’ll thrive in a home that offers structure, guidance, and lots of opportunities for both mental and physical enrichment. Cali is patiently waiting for her forever family, a family that will help her continue her rescue journey and show her just how good life can be. Could that be you? Let us know! Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! Please visit http://www.coastalk9gsr.org/ to learn more about our dogs. Click on available dogs to see further descriptions. If you are interested in me, please contact us at info@coastalk9gsr.org or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.July 21, 2025, 10:18 pm
