My story

Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a sweet, water-loving girl with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I absolutely adore people—especially kids—and I’m always up for a car ride or a stroll through the neighborhood.I`m calm and polite around other dogs, and I don`t even bother chasing squirrels (even though they really tempt me!). I enjoy walks and have great leash manners—unless I catch a whiff of something irresistible, but don’t worry, I quickly come back to pace.Bath time? I think it’s a splash party! I love water and can turn anything into fun. I’m also a treat connoisseur with the gentlest manners, making me a favorite among volunteers.If you’re looking for a loyal, well-behaved, and affectionate companion who’s up for adventure and snuggles, I just might be your girl. Come meet me—I can’t wait to wag my tail just for you!Luna has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  She`s a mature lady but is quite playful with other pups!  But only for a couple minutes, then she`s ready for couch time.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
