Peony

My story

Look how good Peony is looking. Her fur is coming back, she’s making lots of friends. Shes very nice & silly. Peony is a sweet little old lady (thought to be 8-9 years old). She is potty-trained (but occasionally has a senior moment), she gets along well with other gentle dogs, knows how to use a pet door and would make an amazing companion for a fellow senior human. Found as a stray in a known dumping area, covered in fleas along with something had been sprayed in her face to make her eyes red, watery and crusty. Despite being scared, skinny and neglected, she is so gently and trusting. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
