My story

Meet Faith Faith is a 3-month-old, 12 pound (as of 8/6) Hound/Whippet mix (best guess!) who’s as sweet as she is spunky. Brave, curious, and full of puppy joy, Faith has been impressing her foster family from day one. She’s wonderfully social—great with dogs, cats, and kids—and has quickly fallen in step with her canine foster siblings. This little adventurer loves the outdoors, whether she’s running around the yard, sunbathing on the lounger, or taking in the Brooklyn sights from the comfort of a backpack. Inside, she’s a champion cuddler who will happily curl up in your neck for a nap, but she’s also learning to enjoy quiet solo time in her crate or bed. Faith is playful and full of personality—she loves squeaky toys, a good game of tug, and, she has a habit of “collecting” her treasures (toys, and sometimes a shoe) in her crate, without ever damaging them. She’s food-motivated, making training a breeze, and already doing an impressive job with puppy pad training for her age. While she’s still a baby and working on cues like “sit” and “leave it,” Faith is quick to learn and easy to redirect. She thrives on affection, adventure, and being part of the action.
