My story

How this pet arrived: Marzipan was brought in by her previous owner Why Marzipan might be the one for you: Do you admire independent cats who have some sass and spice as they expect you to know what they want, when and how. If so, Marzipan, with your tortie attitude is your kind of cat. She will lean into you and expect that you will lean down and pet her - lots of pets. She will roll over and expect that you will gently rub her tummy. She is not into sharing her domain and expects your full attention - when she wants it. She will entertain and challenge you. She may even be vocal about it. She might appear aloof, until she wants to be held. She may appear independent, until she wants to be fed. She has definite food preferences which she will want you to follow. She may seem distant, until she jumps onto your lap and tells you that it is her nap time, on your lap. She may assume that she is boss of her household because that is what torties usually expect. She will make you laugh at her and she will make you love her - all as she assumes her role of being boss of your home. Want a new boss at home? If so, Marzipan is ready to assume the role. At SDHS:Marzipan has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed neutered and is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Tortoiseshell Weight: 11.62 Age: 3yrs 4mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Marzipan, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
