My story

Kendrick has lived through more than most cats his age. At just around 3 years old, he survived a house fire that displaced him and his feline family. While most of the group was rescued, Kendrick remained missing—until six months later, when he reappeared at one of our winter feeding stations and finally brought to safety. Kendrick came into foster care to decompress, heal, and learn to trust again. And slowly but surely, he’s doing just that. While still shy at first, Kendrick is curious about people and seeks out gentle affection—especially once he feels safe. He’s been known to crawl into bed for snuggles and quietly enjoy your company with soft purrs and sweet meows. Kendrick is incredibly cat-social and would do best in a home with other friendly felines. He’s also been around dogs and does well with calm, respectful pups. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in watching a shy soul bloom at their own pace, Kendrick just might be your guy. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for peace, love, and a second chance. DOB: 03/13/2022 All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.
