My story

Teddy is a calm, gentle, and well-mannered dog who is quickly growing into a playful, affectionate companion. He’s fully potty trained, walks well on a leash, and loves belly rubs and neck scratches, especially when feeling a bit anxious. Teddy is learning more every day, becoming more curious and lively as he gains confidence.He’s got a solid foundation in training—knowing basic commands like “sit” and “no,” and even copying the commands of other dogs. He’s good with stairs and is working on overcoming some shyness around meal times. Teddy is also becoming more comfortable with his own space, enjoying his dog bed after initially seeking the comfort of being close to his humans.Teddy has been calm and friendly around other dogs and appears to be cat-friendly as well. While he hasn’t been tested with kids yet, his gentle nature suggests he may do well with proper introductions. Teddy is a sweet, eager-to-please dog with lots of love to give, and he’s ready to continue his journey toward becoming the perfect family companion.Email Barcfoster@houstontx.gov today for more information.
