My story

A volunteer writes:Volcano is no stray. He was found in the lobby of an apartment building together with food and water, I guess, ready to be found by a Good Samaritan and brought to our care center....Just like that... His past is of course...a mystery.... What we know is what we see. A good and gentle kitty, kind of middle aged, well mannered, going with the flow and really fond of human presence. Volcano does not stay in hiding. He is "ready when you are", appreciating petting and sweet talks, leaning and purring and asking gently for more. Volcano is really the kind of no fuss pet, loyal, calm, loving and always there when you need him for love and comfort. Volcano appears reasonably healthy, got a perfect score on his behavior evaluation and a gold star from the volunteers crew... He is sooo ready to go home with you...Today!What my friends at ACC say about me:Volcano is a sweet and gentle cat who was lying quietly and calmly in his den. He sniffed treats and then ate some squeeze-up and was then able to be slowly coaxed out into the front of the kennel. He enjoyed all petting, giving very gentle and sweet advance. He was reasonably calm when picked up and held and remained so when set back down. He remained outside of the den once the assessment was over and the door was shut.Volcano interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. Primary Color: Gray Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.6 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Volcano, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
