My story

Meet Alessia – A Shy Girl with a Big Heart Alessia is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd who came to the shelter terrified and shut down in her kennel. But outside that stressful space, she’s blossoming into a sweet, affectionate companion. Once out in the play yard, Alessia eagerly approaches for pets, wags her tail, and seeks attention from everyone she meets. She’s done great taking treats gently and soaking up affection from staff. While she does not present well in her kennel, Alessia is making incredible progress and just needs a quiet, patient home to continue her journey. She’s come so far, and we know her perfect match is out there. Come meet Alessia and see the sweet soul behind those soulful eyes.
