My story

Meet Aurora!  Aurora is a gorgeous 14–15-week-old pup, weighing in at about 22 pounds, and she’s ready to meet her forever family. This brave girl was found in the woods of Mississippi alongside her German Shepherd mom and siblings. In the beginning, Aurora was shy and uncertain, but with love and care she’s blossoming into a confident, playful, and spirited young dog. Aurora can still be a little reserved when meeting new people, but give her a little time and her lively personality will shine. She’s not the biggest snuggler but is affectionate all the same and wants your love.  Aurora would rather be busy playing, exploring, and being a dog! True to her German Shepherd roots, Aurora is smart, vocal, and not afraid to let you know what she’s thinking.  She does have a few quirks, like being a little possessive of her things with other dogs, but with gentle guidance and consistent training she’s going to one day easily share everything with another dog.   SHE NEEDS ANOTHER DOG!  Because of her early experiences, Aurora is uncomfortable being alone, so having another confident dog in the home is a must. With a canine buddy by her side, she relaxes, gains confidence, and lets her fun-loving, adventurous spirit shine through. Aurora would thrive with an active family who enjoys adventures as much as she does. She’d likely excel in dog sports or even swimming—she loves the water! She’s already crate trained, doing well with potty training, and has the smarts and energy to learn quickly. Her ears are still deciding whether they want to stand tall (a very charming look!), but one thing’s for sure: Aurora will bring joy, adventure, and a spark of spunky charm into every single day.   aURORA  longs to be your companion in life.  Just not your lap dog.  Could you be the one to give this special girl the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for?  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.    PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 3, 2025, 9:27 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PUPPY AURORA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
