Meet Frosty – Your Velcro Sidekick in a Fluffy Red Coat!At 6 years young and 38 pounds, Frosty is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and loyal companion. She’s got a moderate energy level and a big heart that just wants to stay close to her person. Whether you’re heading out for a hike or settling in for a movie night, Frosty will be right by your side (or on your lap if you let her!).Frosty is great with big and small dogs, and she coexists with cats—though she sometimes can’t resist a playful chase. She’s good with kids over 7 and would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not. She’s not suited for apartment life or senior households, as she does best with a yard and active lifestyle.She’s potty trained, knows “sit,” and is super food motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. However, she’s not crate trained and can get vocal when left alone. She’s also a bit of an escape artist, so a secure yard and careful door handling are a must!Frosty isn’t for first-time dog owners—she needs someone experienced and committed to helping her feel safe and secure. But for the right person, she’s an incredibly loyal companion who will stick with you through thick and thin.Ready to meet your new best friend? If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
