My story

FOSTERED IN SIOUX CITY. Name- Apollo Age- 3-4 months Breed- Blue Heeler What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? I came from a family that got me to be their family dog and unfortunately I got ran over by an atv and they didnt want to pay for my surgery to fix my broken leg. Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? I love my foster mommy. 🐾 Are you good with kids? What age ranges? I currently live with an 8 year old sister and I love her. Are you good with other dogs? Yes, my foster home has 3 dogs of their own and other fosters. I have no trouble and love to wrestle and play with other dogs. Are you good with cats? My current foster home has cats and I dont mind them. Sometimes I try to wrestle with them to play but I dont hurt them. Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? My foster mommy is home with me all day but I am kenneled at night and do not potty in my kennel. I am working really hard on potty training. Do you like car rides? I love to go bye bye and am always excited for new adventures. Do you like walks? I haven't been on many walks but I would love the exercise. How are you on a leash? I am working on leash training. Sometimes I get distracted and want to play with my leash. Do you like toys? Yes, I love all toys. I love a good game of tug of war What is your favorite toy? Give me all the toys. Do you know any commands/tricks? Not yet, but Im a very smart active breed and am eager to learn. How are your house manners? Im working really hard on being a polite gentleman. Describe your personality- I am a fun, loving, energetic puppy looking for my forever home. I love to play, run, but I also like to snuggle when Ive used all my energy for the day. Describe your perfect home- I would love a home with a big yard of a farm to run and play in. I also wouldn't mind having a sibling dog or human that can play with me. My favorite thing to do is wrestle with another dog. I do walk with a little limp but my amazing doctor said that might go away over time. I did go through a pretty aggressive leg injury and my body is still healing. Dont let that fool you though I can still play, run, and wrestle like any dog can. It does not slow me down one bit and my doctor thinks I will be able to live a normal life. Please note he has a puppy so a blank slate. We do require any interested adopters be fully committed to puppy raising which includes puppy classes and the trainer if needed. We do not adopt puppies to people gone extended hours.
