Carmen is a beautiful 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs approximately 45 pounds—just the right size for all of life’s adventures! She has a sweet, gentle temperament and loves to play and stay active. While Carmen can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with a few treats, kind words, and some soft, reassuring pets. Once she trusts you, her affectionate and loyal nature shines through. ✅ Good with other dogs ✅ Good with kids ✅ Good with cats ✅ House-trained ✅ Up-to-date on vaccines She’s truly good with everyone—dogs, kids, even cats! And she’s already house-trained, so she’s ready to skip the basics and jump straight into the fun stuff with you. Carmen has completed heartworm treatment using the fast-kill method and should test negative at her 6-month follow-up. She’s currently with a neighboring rescue, and if you're ready to say yes to forever, we’ll happily pull her into Hay Dude Rescue to complete the adoption. So, what do you say?
