My story

Meet Hachi, a handsome male with a friendly, mellow, and slightly shy personality, radiating a gentle giant vibe. With a medium energy level, this fluffy boy is the perfect companion for those seeking a sweet, loving pup who thrives on affection and patience. Hachi is great with new people, greeting them with his warm demeanor, though his comfort with children is still unknown. He handles food removal well, showing no possessiveness, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, showing curiosity and excitement without aggression when spotting them on walks. His compatibility with cats and other pets is unknown, so introductions should be slow and supervised. Hachi’s friendly and mellow nature, with a touch of shyness, shines through his love for walks, stuffed animals, bones, and treats. Potty training is okay but ongoing, with steady progress as he adjusts to routines. His leash skills are excellent, walking beautifully while staying curious about squirrels or other dogs, making him a joy to take on strolls. Hachi’s gentle demeanor and quick learning make him a delight. He’s mastering commands like “sit” and adapting to daily life, such as navigating stairs and enjoying walks. His sweet personality shines when he’s cuddling or playing with his favorite stuffed animals. While Hachi is working on separation anxiety, which can cause stress when left alone, his foster family is helping him see the crate as a safe space with treats and cuddles, reinforcing that someone will always return. He should be supervised around outdoor animals like chickens or guinea pigs until his behavior with them is better understood. Brimming with sweetness and potential, Hachi is ready to thrive in a loving, patient home. With time, treats, and lots of cuddles, this gentle giant will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who brings warmth and joy to every moment. ##2461354##
