My story

Name: Potato Age: 5 months Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Not yet (Scheduled for August 10) Breed: Corgi/Jindo Mix Color: Beige & White Weight: 5.5 kg Height (Shoulder): 27 cm Rescue Story Potato was found abandoned at a remote mountain-side farm. After being reported, she was taken into a local city shelter and placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and is now living safely in foster care. ‍ Sociability with People Potato is affectionate and people-oriented. She loves to cuddle, easily approaches strangers, and enjoys being petted—even by those she’s just met. She’s especially gentle and friendly with children under 13. She’s comfortable being picked up (even with arms under her belly) and will show her belly to people she trusts. Although she’s very loving, she also appreciates having her own space to rest quietly when she wants to relax. Sociability with Dogs She’s playful and confident with other dogs, both familiar and new. She currently lives with a large retriever and interacts very well—even with dogs bigger than herself. Her friendly and curious nature makes her a wonderful playmate. Sociability with Cats Potato currently lives with a cat and occasionally tries to playfully engage with them. Her interactions are playful rather than aggressive. Leash & Walk Behavior Potato tends to pull on the leash slightly but follows her handler well overall. She’s more interested in sniffing than in maintaining a consistent pace, so she often stops to investigate scents. She shows no reactivity to cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or scooters. She responds better to walks when using a harness rather than a collar. Behavior at Home Potato is not food-aggressive with either people or other dogs. She eats calmly even in shared spaces. When alone at home, she either naps or plays gently with her canine companion. She rarely barks and is not reactive to doorbells, outside noises, or strangers entering the home. She might whine softly when she wants something, but it’s never excessive. Despite her short legs, she can get in and out of cars on her own. She is currently potty-trained for both indoor pads and outdoor walks. Send in your application through our website! You can also check out her post on our Facebook or Instagram. Currently in foster care in South Korea, available for adoption in /   ##2467078##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Potato, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
