My story

Meet Connie (affectionately called Coco by her foster family). This adorable German Shepherd mix puppy is currently 20 pounds of pure personality and is still growing. Full of spunk, curiosity, and energy, Connie is looking for an active home where she can be someone’s go-everywhere, do-anything best friend. Connie is crate trained and is working on potty training. She’s up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to stay on schedule with her vet. She’s not yet spayed, so her future adopter must be prepared to complete that when she’s old enough. Connie is adventurous, confident, and full of zest—a ride-or-die companion for someone who loves staying active. But don’t worry—after all the fun, Connie is also happy to snuggle up next to you on the couch for a Netflix night. She’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion.  If you are interested in adopting Connie, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **  July 20, 2025, 11:21 pm
