My story

Meet Milo! Milo is a 2-year-old Border Collie mix who’s currently thriving in our Paws Behind Bars training program. Under the care of his inmate handler, Milo is learning basic obedience and picking up commands quickly. He’s a smart, motivated boy with a heart full of potential. Though he can be a bit timid at first, Milo warms up beautifully once he knows he’s safe. He’s friendly, playful, and enjoys the company of other dogs. As a working breed, Milo would love a home that can keep him both mentally and physically engaged. A secure fenced yard is preferred so Milo has space to run and play while gaining confidence. He’s ready to bond deeply with someone who will give him the time, structure, and love he needs to shine.
