**Meet Abbey**, the charming little tortie with a whole lot of ‘tude and even more heart! This sweet and sassy girl rocks the classic tortie attitude—she knows what she wants, when she wants it, and isn’t shy about letting you know. But with her big eyes, adorable face, and playful energy, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Abbey is a total toy enthusiast and goes wild for feather wands—watching her leap and pounce is like watching a tiny acrobat in action. And when the Churus come out? She’s suddenly your very best friend, ready to perform all the cute tricks in the book for a taste. Equal parts spunky and snuggly, Abbey is the kind of kitten who keeps life exciting and full of love. If you're looking for a bold little sweetheart who brings joy and just the right amount of sass, Abbey is your girl! --- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around July 28th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
