This adorable little girl may be the baby of the kitten room, but don’t let her size fool you—Maomao runs the show. As the only child in her litter, she’s used to being the center of attention and knows exactly how to get what she wants (with a dramatic meow or a sassy tail flick, of course). Maomao is incredibly smart—she figured out the litter box in no time and started eating on her own like a pro when it was time to wean. She’s curious, confident, and not afraid to speak her mind. Whether she’s exploring her kingdom or demanding her next meal, she does it all with flair and fluff. If you’re looking for a kitten with smarts, sass, and maximum cuteness, Maomao is ready to rule your heart and home! ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around August 29, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
