My story

Meet the big and beautiful Gyro! This lovely fella is 90lbs of gorgeous. We are guessing he could potentially be a mix of shepherd and akita as he is independent, intelligent, and loyal. Gyro is excellent with dogs, is used to sharing his space with cats, and is such a good boy in his crate. A couple of his favorite activities are car rides and adventures that involve meeting new people- he absolutely loves everyone. When hanging out with his doggie friends he even still gets the occasional zoomies- at around 7 years old! He has no problem chilling by himself in the yard or at the foot of the couch if you are busy, but when you're ready for him he's happy to plop down next to you for his favorite thing- belly rubs! Gyro is an easy guy with a great personality, and is so ready and deserving of finding his happily ever after. Apply to adopt this gentle giant today!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
