My story

Drake is a very, very sweet, gentle little pup. He would like the same in a human or humans. He approaches people for gentle pets and he is up for a sniff of a calm dog. He could live with a well matched mellow dog. He is not reactive. Drake does not like loud noises and sudden movements and probably would not like unpredictable, very young or yelling children. He has short bursts of zoomies and he will play chase with another mellow non-reactive dog. He is easy to redirect. So far he is not interested in balls or toys. After a nice slow sniffari he is content to sleep on his doggie bed, close to you, while you work. He is not demanding, but does like to have his human close. He has trained this human to notice when he puts his paws in the air to signal he wants a belly rub. He sleeps with his human on the bed. He is house trained, but needs to be taken out or let out several times a day. He will let you know when he needs to go. I don't think he is a 10 mile hike kind of pup or a running partner, but if you are looking for a tail wagging love bug and can devote the time to giving him the royal treatment, he is your little guy.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DRAKE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
