My story

Say hello to Butterscotch, a striking tortoiseshell with classic tortitude and a whole lot of personality. She’s friendly, curious, and always ready to engage—especially if there’s a wand toy involved. But don’t expect a lap cat (unless it’s her idea). Butterscotch is a confident girl who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about telling you. She thrives on interactive play and loves spending time with people who respect her boundaries and appreciate her independent streak. Once she trusts you, you’ll see her softer side—but you’ll always know she’s in charge (and she likes it that way). Butterscotch is currently on anxiety medication to help her cope with the hustle and bustle of shelter life. However, we believe she may not need it in a calm, understanding forever home where she can truly decompress and be herself.
