My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I have lived with cats in my previous home.The staff think I would do best in a home where there are no dogs.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.A volunteer writes: You might think that Teddy's calm and easy going nature means he only wants chin scritches, and he does like that, but Teddy's also here to party. Bouncing into any game with the exuberant confidence of a kitten, he flops out to playfully stretch his paws out in all four directions bringing them together only to hold his catnip mouse over his head. Sitting up just as quickly, Teddy snuggled his toy to his face before tossing it to the other corner and starting all over again. Teddy was brought to us after his guardian passed away and has lived with other cats. He's looking to bring the party and his heart to his forever home.
