My story

Tinkerbell is a sweet 8 yr. old,13 ½ pounds schnauzer. She came to SRC with her sister, Bella. The family lost their mother, and they were no longer able to properly care for them. “Tink” is cautious about new people so she will need some positive reinforcement when meeting others. Once she settles in, she will be your shadow. In fact, if you can’t find her just turn around! She is crate trained and housebroken. The foster parents only used the crate for the first few days. She gets anxious when she is alone at home. But once she understands you will return, she will be able to relax and greet you at the door with kisses. She enjoys her walks, sniffing along the way. But keep her away from storm drains as she is afraid of them. She does not know how to play with a ball, chase after a stick, or collect toys. She just needs someone forever to spoil and love her. Tinkerbell is not fond of children and may lightly growl when approached by them. She has never bitten anyone. A new home without young, energetic children would be best. She is in perfect health and has just had a dental. She is up to date on all vaccines and is spayed and chipped. She truly is a wonderful little girl. Gets along with other dogs?
