Tinky

My story

My name is Tink—aka Tank. I’m a 9-year-old giant, goofy love bug who just wants to enjoy the company of my person or people. I don’t mind other dogs, but I definitely prefer to have all the attention to myself. I’ve mastered the art of Velcro attachment and take my role very seriously! I enjoy leisurely sniffing around a fenced yard and taking pride in supervising all household and yard chores. I’m always down for a nap or some serious “chill mode,” as long as I’m right next to you. While I behave well when left alone, I’d really rather not be. Car rides can make me a bit anxious, so I’ll need someone to sit with me and remind me that we’re just heading somewhere fun, and that we’ll be going back home afterward. I love all kinds of toys and bones and enjoy gathering them into my favorite spot, usually smack dab in the middle of the floor for everyone to admire. Even at my age, I still have some pep in my step and a little mischievous streak. I might surprise you with a few zoomies or a gentle game of tug. I also take treats with the utmost respect for your fingers, after all, I need to protect the hands that pet me! I’m a perfect gentleman in that regard. In conclusion, I’m looking for a quiet retirement home where I can spend my days basking in the affection of my adoring humans.
