Precious Thang (PT)

My story

Allow me to introduce to you perfection in an imperfect body. PT (or Precious Thang) is, quite possibly, the happiest dog you will ever meet. I’m not talking about bouncy flouncy jubilance. I’m talking pure, contented joy. A dog who can let out a deep sigh of relaxation because she knows she’s alive. PT should hate people. She is a walking wreck of a dog. But she doesn’t. She loves humans. All shapes and sizes and ages. She loves noting more than to follow you during your daily chores, or to lay at your feet when you’re ready to relax. She’s not a snuggler, that’s still weird to her, but she loves to be close. If you’re ever feeling blue, PT will be there with her silly personality to make it better. She is known to carry her dog bowl around while smacking it on the floor, or a toy that’s way too big for her face. She can even be seen carrying off items she shouldn’t, like a watering can, or swim goggles. Don’t worry, she can’t make it far. Surely someone like PT has to have a downside, right? She can’t be too perfect? Well, yes, she has some things. Not personality wise though, there she is perfect. Being neglected for 7 years is rough on anyone. PT has knees out of wack, one kidney hangs lower than the other (not a big deal, just nice to know) and she has muscle wasting along her back end that gives her an hourglass figure. And her gas is being studied for military use. But hey, what’s a Frenchie without some medical bills, right? PT has a forever home out there somewhere. And if it takes a while to find it, that just means more time for me to be with her. Sorry, not sorry. Her adoption fee is $225.
