My story

Say `ciao` to Enzo! Enzo is a shy but gentle 73 lb pup who`s still learning that the world isn’t so scary. At just 6 months old, Enzo is still a growing pup who will thrive with daily play, enrichment, and regular exercise to help him build confidence and burn off that young-pup energy. He’s a little unsure of new people and places, but give him a bit of time and patience, and you’ll start to see his tail wag and his curiosity shine through. He’s lived with other dogs before and is still figuring out how to navigate the world, so he’d love a home where he can get the basics, including some training and structure so that he can grow into the very best canine citizen he can be! If you have a pup of your own at home, we recommended bringing them in for a doggy meet-and-greet with Enzo to ensure canine compatibility! If you`re ready to give this sweet guy the gentle encouragement he needs to come out of his shell, come meet Enzo today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
