My story

Conrad is a one-year-old bully mix with the gentlest soul and the sweetest eyes. He was found abandoned on the side of the road during a heavy rainstorm, scared and alone. It’s clear he hasn’t always been treated kindly—sudden movements and loud noises still make him flinch—but despite everything, Conrad remains incredibly loving and trusting. This 40-pound sweetheart just wants to feel safe and cherished. With a little patience and a lot of love, Conrad is ready to blossom into the confident, happy dog he was meant to be. He’s already showing how much affection he has to give, leaning into gentle pets and soaking up kindness like sunshine. Conrad is looking for a calm, compassionate home where he’ll be given the time and security he needs to heal.
