My story

Meet Scooby – A Sweet Survivor Ready for a Fresh Start Scooby’s year started with hope. He was adopted in January, but sadly, things took a turn. After being attacked by other dogs and developing a serious abscess, he was abandoned. Thankfully, a medical foster stepped in and got him the care he needed. Now Scooby is healthy, healed, and ready for a second chance — this time with someone who won’t give up on him. Scooby is cautious around other dogs at first, which makes sense given his past. But once he feels safe, his playful side comes out. He loves soft squeaky toys, walks, and just being near his people. He’s treat-motivated (especially for chicken and cheese), and he lights up when meeting new humans. Attention? He’s all in. This guy needs a foster or permanent home where he can get what he’s missed: love, attention, and time to just be a happy dog. He’ll do best in a home that can give him exercise, stability, and lots of affection. Scooby’s ready. Are you?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scooby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
