My story

Hi there, I'm Fern Louise My favorite thing to do is... I love being where the action is! Whether you're working from home or doing chores around the house, I'll be right there by your side, your loyal little shadow. Need company in the kitchen? I'm there. Heading to the office? I'll curl up nearby to "supervise." Nothing makes me happier than just being close to my favorite humans. A close second are Churro treats! I know exactly where you keep them and I'll be the first to show up when I hear that wrapper crinkle! What makes me special is... Once I feel safe and settled, I'm an incredibly affectionate. I love gentle pets and will even roll over for belly rubs. Yes, really! Not many cats will let you rub their belly, but I think it's the best. I form strong bonds with my people and love being near them whenever they're home. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or just moving from room to room, I'll be close by, soaking up your company. I want my new owner to know... I may start off a bit shy, but once you earn my trust, you'll have a loving, loyal friend for life. At first, I might even hide underneath the covers or in a closet but please give me a little time and patience. I do like other cats but it will need to be a slow, proper introduction because I can be little overwhelmed in the beginning. When I am feeling playful I like to.. (favorite toys): I love all kinds of toys but especially strings. I will proudly carry my favorite string around the house and show it off. I also enjoy running and wrestling with my baby kitten. We have lots of fun together! Where do I sleep? Right now, I sleep in a closet or on a favorite blanket but I'm slowly learning how comfortable a bed is. I've also been known to take a good nap at the top of a cat tree.
