Marcella

My story

Marcella has been through it in her short lifetime. She found herself abandon and alone in downtown Minneapolis caring for her three babies with an injured tail. Nice ladies found her and brought her to us. Within a week of coming to The Cottage she stopped eating. The vet found that she was pregnant again with 10 babies that were literally sucking the life out of her frail body. After an emergency spay and partial tail amputation a couple of weeks ago, she’s gaining weigh and doing well. She has forgiven the people who dumped her in the street to have her babies alone and is a sweet and loving girl. She still has one baby with her that she loves and cares for. She’s now healed and ready for someone to take care of her.
