My story

Say hello to Baby Girl, a 2-year-old tortoiseshell queen with a personality as unique and vibrant as her gorgeous, marbled coat. Equal parts curious explorer and cuddly companion, Baby Girl is the perfect mix of sugar and spice wrapped up in soft fur and bright eyes. Baby Girl is a natural-born observer. She spends hours perched at the window, silently tracking birds with laser focus and wide-eyed wonder. She's got a hunter’s instincts—bugs, beware! If there’s a fly in the house, you won’t need a swatter; Baby Girl is on the job, and she takes her bug-catching duties very seriously. Despite her playful, alert nature, Baby Girl is incredibly affectionate. She adores being near her humans and will curl up beside you for a cuddle... just don’t expect her to stay still too long! She’s a wigglebug at heart and often gets bursts of energy that send her hopping off your lap to chase a dust mote, investigate a new sound, or race to the window for a fresh round of birdwatching. Her energy is light, joyful, and never overwhelming—just enough to keep you smiling and entertained. She’s litter box trained and while I haven't seen her with other cats or any dogs (outside of my 15-year-old dog) I think she would love to have a playmate or two to explore a household that appreciates her playful independence and sweet, quirky soul. Baby Girl takes a few days to get comfortable in her environment, so she'll find some good hiding spaces until she's ready. She doesn't enjoy being picked up and will make that known vocally. She does best in a home where she can have windows to gaze out of, cozy spots to nap in, and people who understand that love comes in many forms—sometimes it's a warm snuggle, sometimes it’s an enthusiastic headbutt, and sometimes it’s just quietly sitting nearby while she watches her “bird TV.” If you’re ready for quiet, loving, active tortie energy this summer, sweet Baby Girl would love to meet you! ---Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
