My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Zipper, so named because he will 'zip' by you to get out the door!  That may explain why he was picked up as a stray in Detroit.  Ah, but a recent trip to the vet for neuter may take the steam out of his step!  Zipper is described as bossy, house trained, loves car rides and ice cream, intelligent, loves people, quiet, and willing to share your bed.  Just look at that face...how can you resist!!  Although Zipper is a great lap pet, he is no couch potato.  He needs an active and engaged family to channel his energy and provide mental stimulation.  He will also require grooming several times a year. Zipper is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.  This little guy won't be with us long so if interested in adopting him apply today!      Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
