How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team. Why this pet is the one for you:Penelope is a tender-hearted soul who's looking for a place where she can feel safe and loved. This sweet girl came into care alongside her close companion and has shown how deeply she bonds once she feels secure. She often greets visitors with a soft gaze, gentle tail wags, and a lifted paw, quietly asking for connection. Penelope prefers a slow, calm approach-once you sit with her and speak softly, she's quick to climb into your lap for comfort and affection. She's been known to let out a big sigh and relax completely in your arms, clearly soaking up every moment of closeness. Though a bit nervous at times, especially during transitions, she finds reassurance in human presence and will gently paw at you to stay near. Her sensitivity and quiet strength shine through in her daily interactions, and she's learning to trust more each day. Penelope would thrive in a calm environment where someone can offer her patience, gentle guidance, and a whole lot of love.. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered.
