My story

Meet Kay, a 1-year-old Border Collie mix with a gentle soul and a lot of love to give. Found as a stray, Kay is now safe and searching for her forever home. She’s been doing well with her kennel mate and seems to enjoy the quiet comfort of a canine companion. While we’re not sure how she does with cats, Kay would do best in a home with kids aged 12 and up, as she can be quite shy and easily overwhelmed. But don’t let her timid side fool you—once she feels comfortable, her playful personality shines through, and she becomes a total joy to be around. Plus, she’s a little talker, adding extra charm to her already sweet nature. With patience and love, Kay is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
