My story

Meet Chowder—also known as Dustin—a friendly and lovable 3-year-old male dog who was recently owner released. Chowder has a gentle and easygoing nature that makes him a great companion for kids, other dogs, and even cats. He’s crate trained and settles in comfortably when it’s time to relax. While we’re not yet sure if he’s fully house trained, his sweet temperament and willingness to please suggest he’ll adapt well with a little patience and routine. Chowder is ready to find a forever home where he can be loved and part of a family again. Chowder/ Dustin isDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
