My story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereHi, I’m Thistle! I’m an almost 4-month-old German Shepherd mix. I adore people and love to be part of the action, and I've learned how to be polite about it. I'm a mellow and gentle pup around the house. I can hang out without getting into trouble and love lounging in a recliner chair for naps (I snore loudly, and proudly!). I enjoy sitting on the front porch to watch the neighborhood go by. I'm kind to everyone I meet—humans, neighbors, even the cockatoo (who I totally ignore). I love fabric toys, fetching, and a good natural chew. My foster family says I’m doing amazing with housetraining. I either go when offered a potty break or head to the door and politely whine to be let out. No more puppy pads needed!
