My story

Meet Izzy — The Lovebug with Zoomies for Days! Izzy is a beautiful, energetic German Shepherd/Husky mix (with a possible dash of hound!) who's looking for her forever home. I adopted her as a puppy from the Humane Society back in March, and she quickly became my sunshine during a tough personal transition. Her goofy antics, endless energy, and unconditional love helped me smile through some heavy days. Izzy is a social butterfly at the dog park — her signature move is giving other dogs enthusiastic mouth-licks during playtime, whether they’re into it or not! She's persistent with her puppy kisses and has no idea that not everyone appreciates her extreme affection style. 😄 She loves kids and plays like they’re her fellow pups — lots of wrestling, clothes tugging, and gentle nibbling, so a home with older kids (or parents familiar with puppy energy) would be ideal. She's crate trained, but she does best with regular potty breaks and mental stimulation. Otherwise, she may protest with a dramatic howl or get a little mischievous indoors. Izzy is incredibly sweet, cuddly after she’s had her zoomies, and has so much love to give. She’s quick-witted and intelligent and would thrive in a home ready to give her the training, structure, and activity she craves. She’s not a “set-it-and-forget-it” dog — she’s a companion, an adventure buddy, and a loyal shadow. With the right home, Izzy will be a phenomenal best friend. If you’re looking for a high-energy, high-love pup to grow with, Izzy might just be your perfect match. 💛
