Meet Daisy 🌼 Timid, Tender, and in Need of a Quiet Place to Bloom Daisy is a delicate soul who's having a tough time in the shelter. The noise, the barking dogs, the unfamiliar surroundings — it’s all just too much for this sweet girl. When given time in a quiet room, she simply pressed herself gently against the wall and sat in a loaf, too overwhelmed to move. Even after 20 minutes alone, she stayed perfectly still — just trying to feel safe. Despite her fear, Daisy allowed some lap time and was okay with gentle affection, though being so exposed made her nervous again when the barking started up. She’s not aggressive — just scared and unsure right now. But behind those wide eyes is a very sweet cat who’s simply trying to process a world that changed too quickly. Daisy needs a patient, understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust and feel safe again. With love, quiet, and a gentle routine, we believe she’ll come out of her shell and start to trust again.
