She has been through a lot, and yet she has nothing to give but unconditional, in your face love. She is also protective of her human. Penny is looking for her 3rd home at no fault of her own. Her most recent owners are moving and not wanting her to go with them due to being too close to the road and not wanting her inside because a baby is coming. We are looking for someone that needs a best friend and is going to be able to be with her pretty much around the clock. She loves to travel and would make a great dog for a truck driver as she is very well mannered and obedient. Penny also loves to trail ride, hike, or do anything that lets her spend time with her human. She will attach herself to a person and give them zero personal space. We don't mean to scare off adopters. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.
