Click here to learn more about the adoption process!Teddy is a sweet and slightly shy cat who was sitting hunched on top of the den with his tail wrapped around him. He sniffed treats and then allowed petting without obvious reaction. He enjoyed squeeze-up treats.Teddy interacts with the observer, and appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.I can go home today!I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home!A volunteer writes: Teddy's a very sweet cat who has a lot going for him! We keep reminding him of that because sometimes it seems like he hopes no one will notice he's there. Teddy knows he's a senior and will have to work a bit harder to stand out, but how to do that is, for Teddy, easier said than done. As Teddy quietly sat with his tail wrapped around his little cat self he graciously accepted all pets and treats. We know he isn't entirely sure on what happens next and in lieu of asking questions, he seems to kind of sink into himself. I tried to offer some pointers and Teddy listened quite intently, but still making friends leaves him a bit unsure. Teddy came to us from a home with other cats and acclimating to the Care Center has taken some time, but sometimes adjusting to big changes can be like that.
