My story

**Note: Wooyoo is in Korea but will fly to her destination upon adoption. Background Wooyou was rescued from the streets of Paju in the spring of 2024. After spending about a year in a local shelter with no luck finding a home, she joined our adoption program this spring—still holding onto the hope that her forever family is out there. Personality & Socialization Wooyou is calm, quiet, and very gentle. She has a medium to low energy level and prefers peaceful environments. She gets along well with other dogs, especially gentle and quiet ones, but she’s not an active player. Instead, she enjoys simply being around them, watching the world go by. Her favorite thing, though, is spending time with her human. She’s especially comfortable around women and shows her affection in the sweetest, most subtle ways. She’s submissive, well-mannered, and enjoys being close—just quietly soaking up the love. Behaviour Wooyou is a calm and easygoing girl. She’s well-behaved, not destructive, and doesn't make trouble. She’s calm during car rides, vet visits, and even bath time. While she may get a little nervous in new situations, she trusts her person and quietly allows herself to be cared for. Health & Diet When Wooyou was first rescued, she tested positive for heartworms and anaplasmosis. Thankfully, she completed treatment and is now fully recovered and healthy. She’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and receives regular monthly parasite prevention. Ideal Home Wooyou would be perfect for someone looking for a quiet, gentle companion. She’d do especially well in a calm home with someone who has time to share with her. She could also be a lovely match for a household with a senior dog, as she’s respectful and not overly playful. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion to simply share your days with, Wooyou might just be the one. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a little love, a soft place to rest, and a calm heart to lean on. Whoever adopts Wooyou will be very lucky. ---------------------------- For more info about the dog, or the adoption applicaiton, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/wooyoo-2/
