This low-key, gentle, and loyal boy was saved from the euthanasia list from the Rosarito Animal Shelter in May 2024. PuppyPromise brought him into program to save his life. He is around 3 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. Oakley is still learning to trust and is nervous upon meeting new people. He is not a big fan of walks or going out on leash. He would do best in a home with mellow adult dogs and would not be well suited for a home with small unpredictable children, though he would do well with dog savvy older children. Oakley is quiet and prefers a calm environment. He is happy hanging out, enjoying his meals, and relaxing close by his humans. He is seeking a foster or forever home that will be patient with him taking his time to decompress and understand the new space he is in.
