My story

Edna is a very sweet and shy girl. In her foster home, she has been slowly opening up and expressing more of her curious and playful personality each day. She is timid and can get spooked easily but is also loving and will happily curl up next to you or sit on your lap purring. Edna would make a calm and delightful addition to your family! Her previous owner reports that Edna is a sassy orange cat who loves cuddles. She’s an indoor cat, house broken and will shake for treats. She doesn`t love small children or ceiling fans.Edna`s adoption fee, along with those of all senior cats, is waived thanks to a generous gift made in memory of Patrick Phelan.Edna was found to have a bladder stone on x-ray. Luckily, the stone dissolved (is no longer present) and responded very well to a prescription urinary diet - no surgery was required. This cat is urinating normally and has no current medical concerns. This cat should be maintained on a prescription veterinary diet such as Hill`s C/D Multicare Feline or Royal Canin SO diet to help prevent a stone from forming again in the future. Feeding this prescription diet and encouraging increased water consumption will help to prevent her from forming stones in the future, however there is still the possibility that she could develop bladder stones again and require treatment by your veterinarian.
