This little lady came to DASH pregnant and has since had 5 beautiful puppies who she raised wonderfully and now it is her turn to find her forever home. She is small at only 9 lbs., but she packs a lot of sass into that tiny body. She is a typical Chihuahua, who likes to be near her foster mom and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but also likes her own space and let's them know if she needs her alone time. She is a little cautious of new people, but given a few minutes, she warms right up. She would prefer a fenced in yard so she can go out to potty as she is still working on her leash manners, having never been on a leash prior to coming into the rescue. Like most Chihuahuas, she doesn't like going out in the rain or other bad weather and will use pee pads instead. She also ignores the resident cat in her foster home, but has not been kid tested. We think she would also do just fine as the only pet in the home as well and would make a senior a great companion.
