Meet Speedbump – The Unstoppable, Unforgettable Love Machine! Speedbump didn’t just survive getting hit by a car—he conquered it. With a degloved chin, some road rash, and the kind of rugged good looks that only come from living through the impossible, this little legend has every reason to be cautious… but he’s all heart. In fact, Speedbump never once stopped loving. From the very beginning of his healing journey, he’s been handing out affection like a cat on a mission. He’s bold. He’s shameless. He’s obsessed—with YOU, and with food (in that order, but only barely). Speedbump gives love the only way he knows how: with enthusiasm. Expect love bites, headbutts, full-body flops, and the occasional dramatic pout from his adorably roughed-up jaw. He may look a little banged up, but don’t be fooled—he’s healing beautifully and has no idea anything was ever wrong. He’s incredibly food motivated, hilariously persistent, and will try to convince you that every hour is dinner time. He’s not just a survivor—he’s a flirt, a foodie, and a full-time cuddle bandit. Speedbump is looking for a home where his intensity for life, love, and lunch is fully appreciated. If you’re the kind of person who roots for underdogs, believes scars are badges of honor, and doesn’t mind the occasional nibble of affection—then this cat is your soulmate. Tough as nails. Sweet as syrup. Forever your biggest fan. Speedbump is ready to speed right into your heart. Speedbump is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
