My story

How this pet arrived: Lovely was brought in by her previous owner on June 29, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Lovely! Lovely didn't get her name for nothing-she's active, affectionate, and did well living with older children. However, when it comes to loud noises like fireworks, her inner Olympic hurdler comes out... and unfortunately, she once attempted the Window Dash 3000. (Spoiler alert: windows are not optional exits.) She sustained some injuries but is healing well-and now she's ready to find a very special, very quiet home. Lovely has a strong reaction to noise stimuli (we're talking "build a bunker and pretend it's 1820" levels of noise sensitivity), so she'll need a neighborhood free of fireworks, construction, and impromptu monster truck rallies. Her ideal home is one where peace and quiet reign supreme. During noise-heavy times (looking at you, 4th of July), crating and/or vet-prescribed medications are essential. Don't worry-your vet and a good trainer can help guide the way! She can be a bit reactive about her dog friends, so she may prefer to be a solo canine. Lovely has been through a lot, but with the right calm, understanding family, she'll blossom into the happy, snuggly dog she's meant to be. Just... maybe skip the fireworks. Forever. Please.
