A504476Approximately 1-year-old Shepherd/Belgian Malinois Mix**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION**This breed necessitates experienced handlers.Please note that families with small children are not suitable, as this dog has not yet learned to gauge her size.This canine was previously chained, a practice prohibited in New Hanover County. Despite this, she has exhibited exceptional behavior with our staff. As a high-energy breed, she requires a working role to maintain her physical and mental stimulation. Her breed characteristics dictate the need for continuous mental and physical engagement. Consequently, she necessitates advanced obedience training beyond basic instruction and a family committed to employing positive reinforcement techniques.Our adoption hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00-3:30, and Saturday, 8:00-11:30. If you have children or other dogs, a meet-and-greet session is mandatory. It is essential to note that this breed is not suited for apartment living.
