My story

Lab lovers, meet Rosco! This 58-pound charmer came to us as an owner surrender and has been working hard with our staff and volunteers to channel his big energy in the best ways. He’s picking up his training quickly and learning that while his rowdy, jumpy enthusiasm makes us smile, not every human loves it quite as much as he does. And did we mention his favorite game? Rosco lives for fetch. He’d happily chase a ball all day long, then flop down at your feet, or on the couch if you let him, for a well-earned nap. Because of his spirited play style, Rosco would do best in a home with older kids who can enjoy his energy right along with him.Rosco has lived with cats before, though we’re not sure what he thought of them. If you already have a dog at home and are considering adding another, bring the family to meet him first. If he wins you over (and trust us—he probably will), we’ll arrange a proper meet-and-greet with your resident pup.
